sushi

Sushi

1.Making sushi.

2.eating

3.Favorite food

“Mum, is sushi nice,” I asked. “Of course it is,” she said in a happy voice. Soon all the sushi was plated up and Mum shouted “Tea time!” “Thank you, mum,” I said in a pitiful voice.

Crunch! I took my first bite. It was delicious. The juicy flavors of chicken swirled in my mouth. Man my mum makes the best sushi ever. “Mum, that sushi is awesome,” I gurgled as I swallowed the last mouthful.

.

Sushi is my favorite food. I sang all night non stop, sushi , sushi, sushi.

Soon it was breakfast time. I snuck into the fridge and grabbed a piece of sushi. YUM!

Basket Boats

We read a book called Basket Boats. A basket boat is called a thung chai. A thung chai is made from weaved bamboo. It is used for fishing in Qui Nhon in Vietnam. The boats never sink or never tip over because they are round and spin around in the waves.

AUTUMN POEM

The Autumn Poem

The cold icy frost touched the big fat round tree.

Slowly the red, yellow and orange leaves fall to the ground.

Leaves fall down like rain.

The trees are cold and icy.

Winters coming. Oh no!

The trees bare branches start to fall.

The sheep are getting very fat and woolly .

Geometry

Tessellation: a pattern that is made of identical shapes. The shapes need to fit together without gaps.

Here are some of my tessellation patterns.
